Book Week

A magnificent effort by everyone concerned helped us celebrate Book Week in style on Wednesday 21st August.  We had a record number of students and staff dressed up as their favourite book character and this made the 2013 parade of costumes a remarkable event.  The creativity of our students and their parents was on show throughout the morning with an amazing array of colourful characters parading in front of the school for almost 2 hours.  Mr Carter, dressed as the Gruffalo, hosted the parade and it was a very enjoyable morning for our school.  Sincere thanks to all of our students who put so much effort into their costumes, to our parents for assisting in costume preparation and for attending the parade and of course to our great staff for getting into the spirit of Book Week.  A terrific effort Roseworth!
